Mark commenced his professional rugby career in Canberra with the ACT Brumbies in 1998. He spent 7 seasons there and played 68 Super Rugby games. Highlights of his Brumbies career where being part of both championship teams in 2001 & 2004.
Mark also played for the Australian 7’s team intermittently throughout his time in Canberra with the highlight being the Commonwealth games in Manchester in 2002. The same year Mark was selected to join the Wallabies tour of Europe and was capped in the last test of the tour against Italy in Genova.
At the end of the 2004 Super rugby season Mark headed to Europe and spent a total of 5 seasons between Saracens, Ulster & Petrarca in Italy.
Returning from Italy to Perth, Mark finished his rugby career with the Western Force in seasons 2010 & 2011 playing another 10 Super Rugby matches for the club.
Mark took the transition into business in his stride holding various positions with Bankwest and Bank of Queensland. His experience covers roles as Business Development Manager, Relationship Executive and his current position is Head of BOQ Private.
The transition from success on the field to the business sphere can present many challenges for professional sports people, and we hope Mark can shed some light on how he has faced these along the way.

RBN Charity Partnership: The Cauliflower Club
It is with great pleasure that the Australian RBN have nominated the Cauliflower Club as our national charity partner.
As many will know, the Rugby-based organisation offers tangible support by providing sporting and recreational equipment to enhance the lives of those with a disability in both metropolitan and regional areas.
This partnership gives RBN the flexibility to ensure that funds raised by the RBN and our members are targeted at specific projects and programs that the RBN selects, whilst staying within the Cauliflower Club charity status.
