Richard Branson recently shared his favourite poem via social media. It is a lovely poem and you will find it here should you wish to read it.
Richard and all those friends and acquaintances of mine who chose to share the above led me to recall my own favourite poem.
The following is the full version of my favourite poem. It is my favourite more due to the fact I can recollect it best out of any others I have ever heard and or learnt. There may be many more that are more profound and impactful. I can only recall the first two verses but have included the full extract for your and my own benefit.
I learnt in an english language class during my A’Level studies, , at the age of 17 and a quarter.
For this I would like to thank my Dad as he was my English teacher for this one year. He taught me so much throughout my life and through his passion as a teacher, introduced me to the magic of the english language. It’s ability to communicate more then mere words. Enjoy.
Or, a vision in a dream. A Fragment.
